Carb Killa® Banana Bread

Self-isolation has seen many of us go bananas for baking! So, why not get on board with this delicious Carb Killa® banana bread?! It may be simple but it's super tasty too - give it a go and find out for yourself!

Method

 First, preheat your oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4

Then, sift the flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt into a mixing bowl

Next, in a separate mixing bowl, cream the sugar and butter together until light and fluffy

Add the eggs, mashed bananas, protein shake to the butter mixture and mix well

Then, fold in the flour mixture and one chopped Carb Killa® candy bar

Grease a 20cm x 12.5cm loaf tin and pour the cake mixture into the tin

Then, place in the oven and bake for about an hour or until well-risen and golden-brown. If it is baked on top and still uncooked in the middle, cover with tin foil and place back in the oven to stop the top from browning too much

Once baked, remove from the oven and cool in the tin for a few minutes. Then, turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely

Finish by drizzling the top of the bread with a Carb Killa® high protein spread of your choice and garnish with one chopped Carb Killa® bar
